Exchanging details with another couple on our partners’ sleeping behaviours and realising that the problems we face may be common. Examples include being forced to sleep at the edge of the bed, having (or not having) an oscillating fan, needing to close the bedroom windows, etc.

In the first week of sharing the same bedroom, Tiramisu and I changed our sleeping and fan positions a number of times before we agreed on a solution. The both of us grew up sleeping in different living conditions prior to marriage and it was a challenge in the beginning for me to get comfortable in a new bedroom arrangement. We’ve managed to compromised but haha I sometimes enjoy sleeping alone on nights that he works night shift as I get to do whatever I want with the fan, the windows, the bed! (But of course, I still miss him dearly…)
